The Lost Podcast: Episode 1 "A Leaf of Spinach"

In November 2021, everything was closed. The lockdown made restaurant operations impossible. No service, no guests, no menus.
At exactly this time – in an empty dining room in the former Sosein in Heroldsberg – Felix and Florian sit down at a table with a microphone. The idea: a podcast. Title: "12 Plates in November."
It was supposed to be a menu that would never be cooked. Not because it wasn't good—but because it was impossible. The restaurant was closed, the menu was in flux, and November left no stage for what could have been created.
The podcast was dedicated to precisely this idea. Each episode covered a single dish. No complete menu, no distractions—just a focused look at a single dish, at what defines it, what lies behind it.
Episode 1: A leaf of spinach.
A single, perfectly crafted leaf. It exemplified an attitude: precise origins, radical simplicity, maximum expression through reduction.
The podcast was never released. The files disappeared between projects, the founding of the podcast, and all the moves.
But the idea remains: How much depth can there be in a single plate – or in a single leaf?
