From 6 to 22 August we cook a purely vegetarian menu at etz.

Our garden has grown with us over the past years. We have planted, tended, observed, discarded some things and tried others anew. This summer it has reached a point where its diversity no longer merely accompanies individual dishes but can carry an entire menu.

This short new season lets our kitchen focus entirely on the garden — and bring new plates and stories to life from it.

Our reservations are prepaid and can be booked through the end of 2027. etz is open Thursday to Saturday.

You can reschedule or cancel your reservation free of charge up to 48 hours in advance; after that we charge a fee of €50.00 per person.

If an evening is fully booked, add yourself to the waiting list — should a seat open up, we'll get in touch personally, in the order of entry.

You can redeem voucher codes directly when paying for your reservation — simply enter the code at the payment step. The amount is applied, and any remaining balance stays on the code.

To the gift card

An evening in the etz test kitchen. Once a month we open our test kitchen and aroma library — the creative heart of etz — for an even deeper look behind the scenes. On these days a normal reservation is not possible.

To the Metamorphose dates

On selected Thursdays we offer a limited number of seats at a shared table for apprentices and students.

These seats are offered at the reduced price of €140. To request a reservation, please send an email to reservierung@etzrestaurant.de with your name and phone number. We'll then get in touch with you.

The entrance to the restaurant and the test kitchen is reached through the rear courtyard of the former Bavarian metalware factory (archway at Kirschgartenstraße 6, Nuremberg).

Parking is available at the Freibad West lido car park; the restaurant is within walking distance of the Bärenschanze underground station.

A large table in the dining room or a one-of-a-kind private dining in the test kitchen — we offer different experiences that allow a deeper look behind the scenes at etz.
